 AU Commission Chairperson Arrives in Bamako to Revive Dialogue With Mali Mahmoud Ali Youssouf arrived for a two-day official visit, according to an AU statement. He was welcomed by Mali’s Foreign Minister Abdoulaye Diop and is also expected to meet with President Assimi Goïta, it said, Sputnik reported. The visit comes as Mali remains suspended from AU activities since June 2021. The AU has reaffirmed its support for Mali’s sovereignty and territorial integrity while proposing increased assistance to the security sector.

Governor  Soludo appoints 10 member board members

Governor Chukwuma Soludo has appointed a ten member board of internally generated revenue and Housing development corporation board


A press statement issued by Mr Christian Aburime, chief press secretary to the governor Friday Feb 17,  reads in parts "Governor Soludo has approved the appointment of the underlisted person's into the board of internally generated revenue .


They are Mr Richard Nwora Madiebo  as the Chairman while Dr Greg Ugochukwu Ezeilo,  former commissioner for transport Dr Christian Madubuko and Mr Benjamin Anierobi Okafor, are to to serve as Excutive Directors.


 Others are members of the  Housing development corporation board. 


They are H.E. Mr Emeka Sibeudu, former deputy governor of Anambra State under Peter Obi Chairman, Dr. Obiora Walter C. Walter-Eze: Member .


HRH (Arc.) Jonathan O. Okpalaezecha: Member Chief Leon Mezue: Member, Barrister Ikechukwu  Onyeabor former political adviser to Mr Peter Obi Member and Mr Emmanuel Okey Okafor, Member .
