 Press Release: Every Hisbah Officer Is a Peace and Security Ambassador in His Community. Kano State Governor Alh.Abba Kabir Yusuf has reaffirmed the determination of his administration to ensure security and peace  for the protection of lives and property across the state. The Governor, represented by the Commissioner for Religious Affairs, Sheikh Ahmad Tijjani Sani Auwal, made the commitment during a stakeholders meeting on the contribution of shari'a sector institutions toward promoting peace and security in Kano State. The meeting was organized by the Kano State Hisbah Board and held at the Coronation hall Government House, Kano. He emphasized that security is a collective responsibility and urged the Hisbah Board to focus more on providing intelligence reports to conventional security agencies, rather than limiting efforts to moral enforcement alone. Man Convicted In Makurdi for Airtime Fraud

The Makurdi Zonal Command of the EFCC on Tuesday, February 14, 2023, secured the conviction and sentencing of one Akende Gbande Mark before Justice N.I.Afolabi of the Federal High Court, sitting in Lafia, Nasarawa State on one count charge of fraud.  

Mark, sometime between July and September, 2020 in Makurdi, Benue State with intent to defraud did transfer airtime in the aggregate sum of N211,300 from Access Bank Account No. 3024934975 belonging to one Danjuma Bello to his Airtel line No. 08166413766 using an unauthorized access device and thereby committed an offence.

 The defendant pleaded 'guilty' to the charge. Upon his plea, the prosecution counsel, M. Yusuf prayed the Court to convict and sentence him as charged. 

Justice Afolabi convicted and sentenced Gbande to pay a fine of N150,000 (One Hundred and Fifty Thousand Naira) with a warning to desist from any criminal act forthwith. Failure to pay will cause him to serve a prison term of four months.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
