 PRESIDENT TINUBU CONGRATULATES MINISTER OF STATE FOR FOREIGN AFFAIRS AMBASSADOR ENIKANOLAIYE ON HIS BIRTHDAY   President Bola Tinubu has congratulated the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Sola Enikanolaiye, on his birthday.    A statement by Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to the President, Information and Strategy, indicates that the President describes Ambassador Enikanolaiye as a distinguished diplomat, accomplished administrator and dedicated public servant whose career reflects professionalism, patriotism and a deep commitment to Nigeria.   Ambassador Enikanolaiye served in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs from August 1982 to August 2017, rising through the ranks to become Permanent Secretary.  ACTDA Begins Demolition of Illegal structures Obstructing road construction

The Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Awka Capital Territory Development Authority (ACTDA)Mr Ossy Onuko has reiterated his resolve and commitment towards transforming Awka Capital Territory to a Mega City.


The ACTDA boss gave the assurance at the  Unizik temporary Site road Awka, during the demolition of illegal structures standing in the way of achieving a standard road befitting a State Capital.


Mr Onuko said this has become necessary because the buildings are delaying the pace of  developing the road.


In his speech, the Chief of Staff to the State Government,Mr Ernest Ezeajughi appreciated the efforts of ACTDA in ensuring the smooth Construction of the  dual carriage road and  also noted that the construction of the dual carriage road will open up the city, adding that at the completion of the road project, residents within Awka Capital Territory and  Anambra people in general will appreciate the State Government.


In  a reaction, Miss Chinwendu Orji, a petty trader at Unizik junction said it is a welcome development, adding that they have been served several vacation notices by the Authority(MOI).
