In a blog post that has now been published by many international media organisations, in an apparent well-coordinated public relations effort, Binance Chief Executive Officer Richard Teng made false allegations of bribery against unidentified Nigerian government officials who he claimed demanded $150m in cryptocurrency payments to resolve the ongoing criminal investigation against the company.  This claim by Binance CEO lacks any iota of substance. It is nothing but a diversionary tactic and an attempted act of blackmail by a company desperate to obfuscate the grievous criminal charges it is facing in Nigeria.  ACTDA Begins Demolition of Illegal structures Obstructing road construction

The Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Awka Capital Territory Development Authority (ACTDA)Mr Ossy Onuko has reiterated his resolve and commitment towards transforming Awka Capital Territory to a Mega City.


The ACTDA boss gave the assurance at the  Unizik temporary Site road Awka, during the demolition of illegal structures standing in the way of achieving a standard road befitting a State Capital.


Mr Onuko said this has become necessary because the buildings are delaying the pace of  developing the road.


In his speech, the Chief of Staff to the State Government,Mr Ernest Ezeajughi appreciated the efforts of ACTDA in ensuring the smooth Construction of the  dual carriage road and  also noted that the construction of the dual carriage road will open up the city, adding that at the completion of the road project, residents within Awka Capital Territory and  Anambra people in general will appreciate the State Government.


In  a reaction, Miss Chinwendu Orji, a petty trader at Unizik junction said it is a welcome development, adding that they have been served several vacation notices by the Authority(MOI).
