 Press Release: Every Hisbah Officer Is a Peace and Security Ambassador in His Community. Kano State Governor Alh.Abba Kabir Yusuf has reaffirmed the determination of his administration to ensure security and peace  for the protection of lives and property across the state. The Governor, represented by the Commissioner for Religious Affairs, Sheikh Ahmad Tijjani Sani Auwal, made the commitment during a stakeholders meeting on the contribution of shari'a sector institutions toward promoting peace and security in Kano State. The meeting was organized by the Kano State Hisbah Board and held at the Coronation hall Government House, Kano. He emphasized that security is a collective responsibility and urged the Hisbah Board to focus more on providing intelligence reports to conventional security agencies, rather than limiting efforts to moral enforcement alone. Father Pierre Maurício's service in Brazil was disrupted by a pair of naughty dogs


The stray pups have now been adopted by the priest after their cheeky display 



Two cheeky pups interrupted a church service in Brazil with their raunchy antics after clambering on stage and play fighting - before one mounted the other in the middle of a Catholic priest's sermon.

The hilarious moment was captured on film, and later shared by the priest who was left bemused by the gatecrashing dogs, along with his congregation.

Father Pierre Maurício was conducting a service at the Santa Rita Church in the city of Juiz de Fora, Minas Gerais State, last month when the stray dogs broke in and stole the show.


As he attempted to speak about the role of the church during the carnival season, the pups are seen making their way up to the front of the church. 

Churchgoers and officials remain still as the dogs happily jump up to where the priest was standing in front of the altar, and start to play around his feet.
