 LASG REAFFIRMS COMMITMENT TO END TUBERCULOSIS IN COMMUNITIES IN LAGOS STATE The Lagos State Government on Tuesday reaffirmed its commitment to completely eradicate Tuberculosis (TB) at the grassroots level across the metropolis.  The Permanent Secretary, Lagos State Health District III, Dr. Monsurat Adeleke made this known during a courtesy visit by the Institute of Human Virology, Nigeria team to her Ikoyi office, emphasising the present administration's commitment to continually prioritise health security across the state. She said the Lagos State First Lady, Dr. (Mrs.) Claudiana Sanwo-Olu, is a Tuberculosis (TB) champion with the mandate of ending TB now and the continuous expansion of TB scale-up diagnostic centres.  According to her, “The First Lady of Lagos State, Dr. (Mrs.) Claudiana Sanwo-Olu is a TB champion. Father Pierre Maurício's service in Brazil was disrupted by a pair of naughty dogs


The stray pups have now been adopted by the priest after their cheeky display 



Two cheeky pups interrupted a church service in Brazil with their raunchy antics after clambering on stage and play fighting - before one mounted the other in the middle of a Catholic priest's sermon.

The hilarious moment was captured on film, and later shared by the priest who was left bemused by the gatecrashing dogs, along with his congregation.

Father Pierre Maurício was conducting a service at the Santa Rita Church in the city of Juiz de Fora, Minas Gerais State, last month when the stray dogs broke in and stole the show.


As he attempted to speak about the role of the church during the carnival season, the pups are seen making their way up to the front of the church. 

Churchgoers and officials remain still as the dogs happily jump up to where the priest was standing in front of the altar, and start to play around his feet.
