 Thugs Break Into Mortuary in Nzhelele, allegedly stole equipment An elderly security guard was brutally attacked during a break-in at Luvhani Mortuary in Nzhelele, Limpopo, on Friday. According to reports, unknown suspects assaulted the guard with a pick handle and an axe. He sustained serious injuries to his head and legs and was rushed to the nearest hospital for medical treatment. The suspects allegedly stole equipment from the mortuary before fleeing the scene. Police have opened a case and are appealing to the public for any information that could help identify and arrest the suspects.

Catholic Church Dissociates Self From Fr. Cajethan Comments 


The Catholic Diocese of Awka has dissociated self from the recent Comments of Rev. Fr. Cajethan Obiekezie.


In a viral video that surfaced online, Fr. Obiekezie narrated how some South East Politicians betrayed the people by supporting politicians from other geopolitical zones of the Country.


The fierce Priest went further to criticize Governor Soludo of Anambra State alleging that he (Soludo) went about telling people that it was Buhari who made sure he won the Anambra 2021 Gubernatorial election not Anambra People who voted for him. 


In a circular signed by the Diocesan Chancellor, Very Rev. Fr. Dr. Charles Ndubisi, Awka Diocese completely dissociated herself from the utterances of Fr. Obiekezie and warned Priests not to use the platform of pulpit for personal sentiment and verbal attacks. It further said that the Diocese will not hesitate to sanction where necessary.
