 Legendary actor Manoj Kumar dies at 87: ‘Roti Kapada Aur Makaan’ director breathes his last in Mumbai Manoj Kumar, the Bollywood actor and filmmaker, renowned for his patriotic films, passed away at the age of 87 at Mumbai's Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital. The cause of his death was identified as cardiogenic shock due to acute myocardial infarction, according to medical reports. The medical reports confirmed that apart from a severe heart attack that took away his life, Manoj had been battling decompensated liver cirrhosis for the past few months, ANI reported. Following deteriorating health condition, he was admitted to the hospital on February 21, 2025. Popularly known as ‘Bharat Kumar,’ Manoj Kumar was an exceptional director and actor who was honoured with National Film Award. EFCC Arrests 21 Suspected Internet Fraudsters in Benin City

Operatives of the Benin Zonal Command of the EFCC, on Tuesday, March 21,2023 arrested 21suspected internet fraudsters in Benin City, Edo State.

The suspects were arrested in an early morning operation following actionable intelligence.

They include Alakpa Marvelous, Hoghomhen Jude Moses, Christopher Odion, Azanuwna Joseph, Godfirst Christopher, Eghosa Osaretin, Onus Honda, Barnabas Alakpa,  Junior Azanuwna, Ehis Inegbinebor Francis, Godbless Eriugo, Imokhai Dickson, Epama Francis,  Ekuma Austin and Sunday Stanley.

Others are Kelly Alakpa, Amiole Paul, Iweriebor Raphael, Sunday Christian, Imozemhe Raymond and Agbonghae Anthony.

Items recovered from them include two Mercedes Benz, two Lexus ES 350, one Lexus RX 330 and one Toyota Camry, HP Laptops and mobile phones.

The suspects have made useful statements and will be charged to court soon.

 Actor Baba Ijesha appeals five-year jail sentence for sexual assault Nollywood actor Olanrewaju James, known as Baba Ijesha, has filed an appeal against his conviction for the sexual assault of a minor. He has requested the Court of Appeal, Lagos Division, to overturn the ruling of the Lagos State High Court, which sentenced him to five years in prison. The conviction was handed down by Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo (retd.) of the Ikeja Domestic Violence and Sexual Offences Court on July 14, 2022 to Baba Ijesha. Baba Ijesha through his counsel Kayode Olabiran on Tuesday, told the appeal court that his client was set up and that he acted according to a script that he was invited to act on by his colleague. “The Appellant was set up.
