 Anti-Tinubu comments: ACF suspends chairman as Afenifere, others back President The Arewa Consultative Forum on Thursday suspended its chairman Mamman Osuman following widespread reactions across the country, after the northern body’s criticism of President Bola Tinubu’s policies, saying it had impoverished the North. The ACF, in a statement, added that the interests of the North would be best represented by northerners. However, Yoruba socio-political Afenifere, Igbo socio-cultural body Ohanaeze Ndigbo and other regional groups backed the President insisting his predecessor Muhammadu Buhari laid the marker for the hardship in the country. In a communiqué issued at the conclusion of the forum’s National Executive Council meeting in Kaduna on Wednesday, the ACF expressed dissatisfaction with the current economic policies, which, according to the forum, worsened conditions in Northern Nigeria.  Another Peach files for divorce.


 Eva Marcille after 5 years has filed for divorce from her husband Mike Sterling.


In the paperwork, Eva doesn't cite or specify any given reason for the divorce -- other than to say the marriage is irretrievably broken and there's no chance of reconciliation, which is essentially irreconcilable differences. She does, however, lay out what she'd like to see when it comes to their three minor children, who are all younger than 10 years old ... EM is asking for legal and primary physical custody.

Eva says she should be the parent who has the final say on all decisions related to their kids, as she feels she's the fit and proper caregiver.Another thing she wants from Mike going forward ... child support. Eva says he oughta contribute toward the kids' medical, dental, and hospitalization expenses.


When it comes to assets, Eva says she wants an equitable split of everything they've acquired in the marriage and any debts they've racked up. 


Eva Marcille Sterling (née Pigford born October 30, 1984) is an American actress, fashion model and television personality. She started her career by winning the third cycle of America's Next Top Model.

  SSANU, NASU threaten strike over withheld salaries The Joint Action Committee of the Senior Staff Association of Nigerian Universities and the Non-Academic Staff Union of Educational and Associated Institutions have threatened to disrupt industrial peace in universities should the government fail to release the withheld salaries of members. The salaries were seized by the administration of former President Muhammadu Buhari during their strike in 2022. The unions, in a joint letter signed on Friday by the President of SSANU, Muhammed Ibrahim and General Secretary of NASU, Peters Adeyemi, questioned the rationale with which the government released four months withheld salaries to members of the Academic Staff Union of Universities but failed to release the withheld salaries of non-academic staff.
