A MANHUNT IS UNDERWAY FOR MAN WHO SHOT A GRANITE CITY POLICE OFFICER MULTIPLE TIMES.(PHOTO).

  A manhunt is underway for man who shot a Granite City Police Officer multiple times. Officers in Granite City, Illinois, responded to a call regarding a unwanted subject near the 2000 block of Johnson Road at 2:20 p.m. on Friday, December 5th. Upon arrival, officers attempted to make contact with the suspect. The suspect opened fire on officers before fleeing the scene.  Unfortunately, one officer was struck multiple times. The officer was rushed to a St. Louis University Hospital. He is expected to make a full recovery.  A massive manhunt is now underway to locate the suspect. Authorities warn the public that the man is considered armed and dangerous. Fire dismantle some building as early hour of 4am today 21/3/2023.😭😭
Source say they have invited fires service from the neighboring state which is Delta State.


Early this morning, Whitehouse, a warehouse used for stocking fabric materials by traders in the Onitsha main market caught fire.


The fire lasted for over two hours and goods and properties worth millions of Naira were lost.


The fire has been managed by a combined effort of the Delta State fire service from nearby Asaba and the Anambra State fire service from equally nearby Awka.
