 PRESIDENT TINUBU CONGRATULATES MINISTER OF STATE FOR FOREIGN AFFAIRS AMBASSADOR ENIKANOLAIYE ON HIS BIRTHDAY   President Bola Tinubu has congratulated the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Sola Enikanolaiye, on his birthday.    A statement by Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to the President, Information and Strategy, indicates that the President describes Ambassador Enikanolaiye as a distinguished diplomat, accomplished administrator and dedicated public servant whose career reflects professionalism, patriotism and a deep commitment to Nigeria.   Ambassador Enikanolaiye served in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs from August 1982 to August 2017, rising through the ranks to become Permanent Secretary. Governor Abiodun has not dissolved cabinet, says OGSG

The Ogun State Government has refuted the report being circulated on some social media platforms, claiming that the state governor, Dapo Abiodun, has dissolved the State Executive Council.

An online news medium, The Encounter, had reported that the governor had dissolved his cabinet.

But in a statement issued and signed by the Chief Press Secretary to the governor, Kunle Somorin, described the report as not only untrue, but misleading.

According to him, Governor Abiodun, having won his reelection, has continued to perform his functions as governor by working with members of his cabinet.

Somorin, who affirmed that the state exco is still intact as the governor has not directly or indirectly announced any dissolution, urged the people to disregard the report, which according to him is the figment of the imagination of the writer of the story.
