 LASG REAFFIRMS COMMITMENT TO END TUBERCULOSIS IN COMMUNITIES IN LAGOS STATE The Lagos State Government on Tuesday reaffirmed its commitment to completely eradicate Tuberculosis (TB) at the grassroots level across the metropolis.  The Permanent Secretary, Lagos State Health District III, Dr. Monsurat Adeleke made this known during a courtesy visit by the Institute of Human Virology, Nigeria team to her Ikoyi office, emphasising the present administration's commitment to continually prioritise health security across the state. She said the Lagos State First Lady, Dr. (Mrs.) Claudiana Sanwo-Olu, is a Tuberculosis (TB) champion with the mandate of ending TB now and the continuous expansion of TB scale-up diagnostic centres.  According to her, “The First Lady of Lagos State, Dr. (Mrs.) Claudiana Sanwo-Olu is a TB champion. NAKONDE MAN BURNS HIS STEP SON TO DEATH BECAUSE HIS MOTHER COOKED BEANS INSTEAD OF MEAT



A 25 year old man of Nakonde has burnt his two year old step son to death because his mother cooked beans instead of meat. The meat and beans was bought by the wife using her money and she made a meal time table and put meat on Sunday. Her husband who has never bought food for the family for the past one year, wanted to eat meat on Friday but was annoyed after he found beans in the plates. He decided to punish his wife by pouring hot water on his step son who was sleeping. The baby cried uncontrollably before fainting, 30 minutes later he died. He was put to rest today Sunday in Nakonde. So sad. May the Soul of the Innocent Boy Rest In Eternal Peace!
