 Setting the Records Straight on  Citizen Asar Michael Sesugh's  Death The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission,  EFCC,  considered it imperative to clear the air on some recent incidents at its Makurdi Zonal Directorate,  Benue State.   Operatives of the Directorate arrested 26 suspected cyber fraudsters on April 28,  2026.  They were profiled and kept in custody for further investigations after obtaining a Remand Order at a Magistrate Court.  Shortly after their arrest,  specifically on May 4,  2026,  three of the suspects sought permission to use the lavatory at the Directorate's  Holding Facility and were permitted.   They cashed in on the opportunity,  broke the toilet's roof and escaped from detention.  Several efforts were made to re- arrest them to no avail. UniPort Senate Approves Outstanding Degree Results

The Senate of the University of Port Harcourt has approved outstanding Degree Results for the 2018-2019, 2019-2020, and 2020-2021 Academic Sessions. Also approved were Outstanding Degree Results from the 2018 to 2021 Academic Sessions.

A breakdown of the approved Results showed a total of sixty-four-degree Results for Full Time, Part Time and Sandwich from the various Faculties of the University.

The approved outstanding results are from the Faculty of Humanities, Social Sciences, Faculty of Science, School of Science Laboratory Faculty of Education, Engineering, Management Sciences, Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Faculty of Law, and the College of Health Sciences.

This approval followed the decisions of the Senate at its 471st Meeting held on Wednesday, 29th March 2023.

Addressing Senate, the Chairman and Vice-Chancellor, Professor Owunari Georgewill disclosed that the welfare of students must be given top priority in the affairs of his administration. The Chairman enjoined members of the Senate to key into the vision of the present administration.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
