 LASG REAFFIRMS COMMITMENT TO END TUBERCULOSIS IN COMMUNITIES IN LAGOS STATE The Lagos State Government on Tuesday reaffirmed its commitment to completely eradicate Tuberculosis (TB) at the grassroots level across the metropolis.  The Permanent Secretary, Lagos State Health District III, Dr. Monsurat Adeleke made this known during a courtesy visit by the Institute of Human Virology, Nigeria team to her Ikoyi office, emphasising the present administration's commitment to continually prioritise health security across the state. She said the Lagos State First Lady, Dr. (Mrs.) Claudiana Sanwo-Olu, is a Tuberculosis (TB) champion with the mandate of ending TB now and the continuous expansion of TB scale-up diagnostic centres.  According to her, “The First Lady of Lagos State, Dr. (Mrs.) Claudiana Sanwo-Olu is a TB champion.  ZAMBIAN PROPHETS, BUSINESS MEN AND WOMEN COME EVERYDAY TO BUY WATER - MORTUARY ATTENDANT.



One of the mortuary attendants in one of the named hospital in Lusaka has disclosed to ZNBC that, people from different institutions visit him everyday to buy water used to clean dead bodies. 


"Most people who come here are young prophets from different churches including business men and women.


"At first when I got this job I used to be very much scared, now am used and I see it normal"he said. I sell this water per litre. 2.5 litres is at K500, 5Litres K1,000 and 10 litres K2,000 and it moves very fast. 


It is one of the most booming businesses in Lusaka. Its benefits us a lot especially when we have unclaimed bodies and those who fail to clean the dead bodies.."Am building and taking care of my children and extended family members through this business" said the mortuary attendant.
