 I Don’t Wish It On You – Genevieve Nnaji Knocks Trolls Age-shaming Her Veteran Nollywood actress Genevieve Nnaji has responded to social media trolls who made age-shaming comments about her. According to Naija News, a user on X reacted to Genevieve's post on April 3, 2025, stating that she couldn't escape aging and was getting older. The comment read, “You really cannot cheat nature. My fine wine is finally growing old.” In her reply, Genevieve pointed out that things could be worse; she could age significantly and eventually die if she were fortunate. She wrote, “It gets worse, bro. I’ll get so old I’ll die. If I’m lucky.” Another troll referred to her as “mummy,” suggesting she was old, but Genevieve quickly dismissed the comment, saying she wouldn’t wish old age on him. 5 PEOPLE DIED,9 WOUNDED AFTER A MAN OPENED FIRE AT A BANK IN KENTUCKY,UNITED STATES OF AMERICA. (VIDEOS/PHOTO).

Five people have died, and nine more have been injured, after a 25-year-old opened fire at a bank in Kentucky. Meanwhile, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu reversed a decision to sack his Defence Minister over objections to his radical judicial reforms.


CNN reports Louisville shooter Connor Sturgeon was notified that he was going to be terminated from Old National Bank in Louisville, Kentucky, according to a law enforcement source familiar with the investigation. 


Sturgeon wrote a note for his parents and a friend indicating that he was going to shoot at the bank, the source said. 


It is not clear whether that note was on paper or emailed, or whether it was seen before the incident or after, according to the source. 


The shooting was live-streamed on Instagram and has been taken down. Police are in possession of the video, according to the source.

 Actor Baba Ijesha appeals five-year jail sentence for sexual assault Nollywood actor Olanrewaju James, known as Baba Ijesha, has filed an appeal against his conviction for the sexual assault of a minor. He has requested the Court of Appeal, Lagos Division, to overturn the ruling of the Lagos State High Court, which sentenced him to five years in prison. The conviction was handed down by Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo (retd.) of the Ikeja Domestic Violence and Sexual Offences Court on July 14, 2022 to Baba Ijesha. Baba Ijesha through his counsel Kayode Olabiran on Tuesday, told the appeal court that his client was set up and that he acted according to a script that he was invited to act on by his colleague. “The Appellant was set up.
