 Man brutalises his pregnant wife in Anambra  In another case of domestic violence, a pregnant woman was brutally beaten by her husband in Ichi, Ekwusigo Local Government Area of Anambra State. The mother of three identified as Chinelo Francis, from Ebonyi State, said trouble began when she requested money from her husband, Peter, to prepare food.  According to the young woman, she had already bought vegetable with the profit she made from her shop. Peter, also from Ebonyi, claimed he didn’t make money that day and took the children home.  He returned to her shop at around 8:00 PM and insisted she close up and come home with him.  She refused, explaining that the time was when she typically made most of her sales.  Later, she closed up her shop, went home at 9:30 PM, prepared the children for bed, and retired. A MOTHER FORCED TO CROSS OVER HER DAUGHTER'S DEAD BODY TO PROVE HER INNOCENCE IN ANAMBRA STATE.(VIDEO/PHOTOS).

A young girl named Ogochukwu Ozoemena died on the night of Thursday 30th March 2023 at her home town at Uga in Anambra State.

She was alleged to have been struck by something in her father's compound and this led to serious episodes of convulsion. And she battled the sickness for weeks until she died last night.

Following the circumstances surrounding her death, her mother was accused of killing her own daughter, Youth asked her to cross the dead body four times and later forced her to carry the corpse.
 
Lots of Charms buried in the compound were excavated and some has decayed. One of the brother's ran away while the charms were being turned up.

The woman was also accused of not being at peace with most of her children.
