Dr. Iziaq Adekunle Salako Honourable Minister of State for Health & Social Welfare stated at the gala night of the just concluded Association of Nigerian Physicians in Americas (ANPA)  31st Annual Scientific Convention / 30 years anniversary celebration held at Eko Hotel, Victoria Island Lagos. A MOTHER FORCED TO CROSS OVER HER DAUGHTER'S DEAD BODY TO PROVE HER INNOCENCE IN ANAMBRA STATE.(VIDEO/PHOTOS).

A young girl named Ogochukwu Ozoemena died on the night of Thursday 30th March 2023 at her home town at Uga in Anambra State.

She was alleged to have been struck by something in her father's compound and this led to serious episodes of convulsion. And she battled the sickness for weeks until she died last night.

Following the circumstances surrounding her death, her mother was accused of killing her own daughter, Youth asked her to cross the dead body four times and later forced her to carry the corpse.
 
Lots of Charms buried in the compound were excavated and some has decayed. One of the brother's ran away while the charms were being turned up.

The woman was also accused of not being at peace with most of her children.

 Actor Baba Ijesha appeals five-year jail sentence for sexual assault Nollywood actor Olanrewaju James, known as Baba Ijesha, has filed an appeal against his conviction for the sexual assault of a minor. He has requested the Court of Appeal, Lagos Division, to overturn the ruling of the Lagos State High Court, which sentenced him to five years in prison. The conviction was handed down by Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo (retd.) of the Ikeja Domestic Violence and Sexual Offences Court on July 14, 2022 to Baba Ijesha. Baba Ijesha through his counsel Kayode Olabiran on Tuesday, told the appeal court that his client was set up and that he acted according to a script that he was invited to act on by his colleague. “The Appellant was set up.
