 TROOPS OF OPERATION HADIN KAI RESCUE ABDUCTED NGOSHE WOMEN IN MANDARA MOUNTAIN Troops of the Joint Task Force (North East) Operation HADIN KAI (OPHK) have recorded another significant operational success with the rescue of six abducted civilians and their subsequent reunion with family members in Ngoshe community, Gwoza Local Government Area of Borno State. The rescue operation followed sustained offensive actions, including recent air interdiction missions targeting terrorist enclaves in the Mandara Mountains. Acting on credible intelligence, troops of OPHK, while returning from a successful overnight offensive operation in the early hours of 1 May 2026, intercepted and rescued six women and children  around Amuda—a deserted area between Ngoshe and Gava known for terrorist transit activities. COFFIN REFUSES TO BE BURIED, HIT SUSPECTED KILLER ON HEAD IN CHIPEMBELE.

Drama and Confusion this morning erupted in Chiyobola village of Chipembele ward in Monze district after a coffin for a man in his 60s identified as Bruno Chilundu allegedly refused to be buried.

Chipembele Ward Councilor Bonaventure Mwiinga tells wave fm news that the drama started when the coffin started dragging poll bearers searching for the suspected killers.

Mr Mwiinga further explains that the coffin has hit the elder brother to the late on the head as one of the suspect killer behind the death of the late Chilundu.

He says the deceased was a retired teacher who died on 18th April 2023 in unclear circumstance.

The Civic leader says the burial was supposed to take place today after the church service.

By broadcast time, the coffin was still searching other suspected killers.
