 GOVERNOR ABBA  YUSUF SACKS  KANO STATE HEAD OF SERVICE   The Executive Governor of Kano State, Abba Kabir Yusuf, has relieved the State Head of Service, Abdullahi Musa, of his appointment with immediate effect. In a statement  by the Director General, Media and Publicity to the Governor, Sunusi Bature Dawakin Tofa, the decision is part of the ongoing efforts by the present administration to reposition the state civil service for greater efficiency, discipline, and improved service delivery across all government institutions. Governor Yusuf expressed appreciation to the outgoing Head of Service for his contributions and dedication to the service of the State  The statement further directed that Bilkisu Shehu Maimota, the Permanent Secretary, Admin and General Services at the Cabinet Office, to serve in an  acting capacity pending the appointment of a substantive Head of Service. COFFIN REFUSES TO BE BURIED, HIT SUSPECTED KILLER ON HEAD IN CHIPEMBELE.

Drama and Confusion this morning erupted in Chiyobola village of Chipembele ward in Monze district after a coffin for a man in his 60s identified as Bruno Chilundu allegedly refused to be buried.

Chipembele Ward Councilor Bonaventure Mwiinga tells wave fm news that the drama started when the coffin started dragging poll bearers searching for the suspected killers.

Mr Mwiinga further explains that the coffin has hit the elder brother to the late on the head as one of the suspect killer behind the death of the late Chilundu.

He says the deceased was a retired teacher who died on 18th April 2023 in unclear circumstance.

The Civic leader says the burial was supposed to take place today after the church service.

By broadcast time, the coffin was still searching other suspected killers.
