 KADIRS Warns Residents Against Fake Revenue Collectors, Introduces E-Demand Notice As Sole Payment Authorization The Kaduna State Internal Revenue Service (KADIRS) has cautioned taxpayers and residents of Kaduna State against making revenue payments without first obtaining an official E-Demand Notice (Pay Advice), warning that fraudsters may exploit outdated payment processes to defraud the public. In a public announcement issued on Thursday, KADIRS said the move forms part of its ongoing efforts to automate revenue collection and enhance transparency across the state.  The agency disclosed that manual demand notices previously used for Local Government revenue collection have been phased out and are no longer recognized. According to KADIRS, the E-Demand Notice (Pay Advice) has officially replaced the former Local Government Harmonized Demand Notice and is now the only valid document for on-the-spot taxpayer assessment through the state's Central Billing System. EFCC Arrests 14 Suspected Internet Fraudsters in Oghara, Delta State

Operatives of the Benin Zonal Command of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission on Monday April 3, 2023, arrested 14 suspected internet fraudsters in Oghara, Delta State.

They were arrested based on actionable intelligence received by the Commission.

The suspects are  Iheanacho Winner, Ovojebe Elvis, Awe MacDonald , Promise Edafe, Daniel Omannurhomu, Onogbake Prince, Iyeke Ochuko and Precious Donald.
Others are Nwadei Chuknwuks, Terry Orovwigho, Terna Daniel, Benson Oghenekeuwe, Emojeuove Wisdom and Solomon Andrew.

Items recovered from them include a Lexus RX 350, Lexus ES 350, laptops and mobile phones

The suspects will be charge to court soon.
