 TROOPS OF OPERATION UDO KA UNCOVER SHALLOW GRAVE, EXHUME REMAINS OF LATE COMMUNITY LEADER IN IMO STATE Troops of 34 Artillery Brigade, operating under Operation UDO KA and through the ongoing Operation EASTERN SANITY II, have achieved another significant breakthrough with the recovery and dignified exhumation of the remains of the late Chief Ibe Anyadu of Aggah Community. Chief Anyadu was allegedly murdered by suspected members of a criminal gang recently apprehended in connection with violent crimes in the region. This development follows recent intelligence-driven operations that led to the arrest of suspects responsible for the killing of a Nigerian Army soldier and the recovery of stolen service weapons. During interrogation, one of the suspects confessed to involvement in the murder of Chief Anyadu and volunteered to lead troops to the burial site. Female Company Executive Jailed 3 Years for N4m Forex Scam


The Abuja Zonal Command of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, on April 27, 2023, secured the conviction of one Fatima Suleiman before Justice J.O. Onwuegbuzie of the FCT High Court, Apo-Abuja.


Suleiman, 56 and Chairman/Chief Executive Officer of Jamilma Multilinks Logistics Services Limited, was convicted on a one count charge that bordered on dishonestly converting the sum of N4, 000,000 (Four Million Naira) which was given to  her for conversion  to United States of American Dollars by one Chigozie Ezeagu.


She had pleaded not guilty upon arraignment leading to her full trial.


Justice Onwuegbuzie found the defendant guilty of the charge preferred against her, convicted and sentenced her to three years imprisonment without an option of fine. The convict is also to pay the the sum of N3, 000,000 (Three Million Naira) in restitution to Ezeagu.
