 PRESIDENT TINUBU CONGRATULATES OTEGA OGRA ON ELECTION TO WORLD FEDERATION OF ADVERTISERS EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE President Bola Tinubu has congratulated his Senior Special Assistant on Digital Engagement, Strategy and New Media, Mr Otega Ogra, on his election to the Executive Committee of the World Federation of Advertisers (WFA). A statement by Bayo Onanuga Special Adviser to the President, Information & Strategy, indicates that the election took place at the organisation’s Annual General Meeting during the Global Marketing Week Conference in Stockholm, Sweden. President Tinubu described the development as a significant step for Nigeria’s growing influence in global communications. Forgive Me For All The Wrongs I Did To You – Ganduje Begs Kano Residents

Kano state governor, Umar Ganduje has appealed to residents of the state who he may have offended in any way during his tenure as their governor, to forgive him.


His appeal is contained in a statement released by Muhammad Garba, the state’s commissioner for information and internal affairs.


According to the statement, Governor Ganduje whose two-term tenure of eight years will end on May 29, spoke in his Eid-el-Fitri message on Friday, April 21. The governor said he is not holding grudges against anyone, and that he has forgiven people “who at one time disparaged my person and my character for whatever reasons.”


“I’ve forgiven anyone who at one time disparaged my person and my character for whatever reasons, and on my part, I equally beg or seek for your forgiveness for all that I’ve done wrong to you. For those who we have wronged, forgive us, on my part, I’ve forgiven those who wronged me no matter the weight of the offence.” the statement quoted him as saying.


Yusuf Gawuna of the All Progressives Congress (APC), who was supported by Governor Ganduje was defeated by Abba Yusuf of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) in the Kano state’s governorship election.
