 PRESIDENT TINUBU CONGRATULATES MINISTER OF STATE FOR FOREIGN AFFAIRS AMBASSADOR ENIKANOLAIYE ON HIS BIRTHDAY   President Bola Tinubu has congratulated the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Sola Enikanolaiye, on his birthday.    A statement by Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to the President, Information and Strategy, indicates that the President describes Ambassador Enikanolaiye as a distinguished diplomat, accomplished administrator and dedicated public servant whose career reflects professionalism, patriotism and a deep commitment to Nigeria.   Ambassador Enikanolaiye served in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs from August 1982 to August 2017, rising through the ranks to become Permanent Secretary. Soludo Closes School, Fires Teacher Over Exam Malpractices

Governor Chukwuma Soludo of Anambra State has closed down the Tower Primary School, Oba over alleged involvement in examination malpractices during the 2023 Transition Placement Examination. 


The Commissioner for Education, Professor Ngozi Chuma-Udeh announced the school’s closure after a meeting to investigate the case of examination misconduct reported against a Parent Teacher Association (PTA) teacher, Precious Chibuzo, who invigilated the exam at the Umuogali Community Primary School, Oba.


According to a statement by Public Relations Officer of the Ministry, Nnaemeka Egwuonwu, investigation carried out by the Ministry following reports from pupils of Triumphant Cross School Oba, revealed that Proprietress of the Tower Academy Oba, Kosisochukwu Igwe connived with the students in the misconduct.
