 Minority Caucus condemns barbaric killings in Edo State The Minority Caucus of the House of Representatives has strongly condemned the recent killings of 16 Nigerians, primarily from the northern region, in Edo State. The attack, reportedly carried out by a group of unidentified assailants, has sparked widespread outrage and renewed concerns over national security. In a statement, the caucus expressed shock and grief over what it described as a "barbaric murder" of innocent citizens. The lawmakers warned that allowing such heinous crimes to persist without firm intervention from the federal government could jeopardize national unity and peace. “We find such brutal killings of innocent Nigerians in any part of the country by lawless mobs very reprehensible. If these actions are not put in check, they could threaten the peace and unity of the nation,” the statement read. ‘I enjoyed it’, Nedu breaks silence after kiss with BBNaija star, Mercy Eke

Nigerian On-Air-Personality, Chinedu Ani Emmanuel, popularly known as Nedu Wazobia, has broken silence after a video of him kissing Big Brother Naija star, Mercy Eke went viral.

The video sees the pair passionately kissing in wedding regalias amid cheers from the church congregation.

The video has stirred reactions since surfacing online with many condemning the act as inappropriate.

Speaking amid the backlash, the indifferent Nedu, who also shared the video on his Instagram page, stated how much he enjoyed the kiss.

Nedu wrote: “I nearly piss for this kiss. E sweet me die. @official_mercyeke, press my bum bum more next time.”

The wedding video of Nedu and Mercy Eke was reportedly culled from a movie that featured Sabinus.

 Actor Baba Ijesha appeals five-year jail sentence for sexual assault Nollywood actor Olanrewaju James, known as Baba Ijesha, has filed an appeal against his conviction for the sexual assault of a minor. He has requested the Court of Appeal, Lagos Division, to overturn the ruling of the Lagos State High Court, which sentenced him to five years in prison. The conviction was handed down by Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo (retd.) of the Ikeja Domestic Violence and Sexual Offences Court on July 14, 2022 to Baba Ijesha. Baba Ijesha through his counsel Kayode Olabiran on Tuesday, told the appeal court that his client was set up and that he acted according to a script that he was invited to act on by his colleague. “The Appellant was set up.
