 TROOPS OF OPERATION UDO KA UNCOVER SHALLOW GRAVE, EXHUME REMAINS OF LATE COMMUNITY LEADER IN IMO STATE Troops of 34 Artillery Brigade, operating under Operation UDO KA and through the ongoing Operation EASTERN SANITY II, have achieved another significant breakthrough with the recovery and dignified exhumation of the remains of the late Chief Ibe Anyadu of Aggah Community. Chief Anyadu was allegedly murdered by suspected members of a criminal gang recently apprehended in connection with violent crimes in the region. This development follows recent intelligence-driven operations that led to the arrest of suspects responsible for the killing of a Nigerian Army soldier and the recovery of stolen service weapons. During interrogation, one of the suspects confessed to involvement in the murder of Chief Anyadu and volunteered to lead troops to the burial site. IGP JOINED OTHER MUSLIM FAITHFUL AT MAMBILLA BARRACKS PRAYER GROUND TODAY. (PHOTOS).#PRESS RELEASE.

The Inspector-General of Police, IGP Usman Alkali Baba, CFR, today Friday 21st April, 2023, joined other Muslim faithful at the Mambilla Barracks prayer ground to observe the Eid prayers commemorating the year 2023 Eid-el-Fitr celebrations. 

The IGP has urged all members of the Muslim Ummah to imbibe the spirit of the Sallah season and uphold the tenets of the Holy Quran in all their conduct and relationships with others. 

Similarly, the IGP assures that the police have carried out all necessary deployments for the prevention of crime and the protection of all peaceable members of the society.
