 There was no evidence that he slept with the girl” – Yomi Fabiyi gives update on Baba Ijesha’s case Nollywood actor Yomi Fabiyi has given an update on embattled Yoruba actor Baba Ijesha’s case. Refreshing your memory, Baba Ijesha was arrested and sentenced to 5 years imprisonment for raping a minor, who is the adopted daughter of comedian Princess. Giving an update on the case in a recent interview, he said Baba Ijesha’s appeal process is still ongoing in court. He claimed that there was no evidence that he slept with the hole; hence, the judge didn’t sentence him to life imprisonment. Yomi stated that Princess called Baba Ijesha to shoot a skit, and the girl also made a similar statement in court. LASG INVESTIGATING COLLAPSED BUILDING IN BANANA ISLAND 



A 7-floor building under construction collapsed in Banana Island, Lagos State, this evening. 


The victims of the building collapse who sustained injuries are receiving immediate medical attention.While we are able to confirm at this time, that there is no fatality. The unfortunate incident happened while workers at the site were involved in some casting work. 


The Commissioner for Physical Planning and Urban Development, Engr. Tayo Bamgbose-Martins was at site of the incident to assess the situation and flag off an immediate investigation into the cause of the building collapse. 

 We ask members of the public to remain calm and expect further information from the Ministry.

He has requested the Court of Appeal, Lagos Division, to overturn the ruling of the Lagos State High Court, which sentenced him to five years in prison. Namtira Bwala has threatened to file a lawsuit against the school authorities if her abusers are not punished within 48 hours. In a letter drafted by her lawyers, Deji Adeyanju and Co, Namtira asked the school authorities to immediately investigate and pronounce the stiffest punishments in the student’s rule book on Ms.Maryam Hassan, Miss Faliya, and nine other students who bullied her.
