  Court Frees 12 IPOB Members After Four Years in Detention An Ebonyi State High Court has released 12 members of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) after nearly four years in detention. The court freed the detainees on Thursday following the withdrawal of the last charge by the state’s Director of Public Prosecution, in compliance with multiple previous court rulings that had acquitted them. Their lawyer, Ifeanyi Ejiofor, confirmed the release, noting that the 12 were part of a group of 36 IPOB members arrested on May 24, 2021. He reaffirmed that efforts are ongoing to secure the release of the remaining detainees. Watch video below.

Misuse of Firearm by Three POLICEMEN in Kano 

KANO FIRING: Sgt. Abdullahi Badamasi (on mufti, fired a pistol; Sgt. Isah Danladi; and Inspr. Dahiru Shuaibu (fired the rifle).
These are the men caught on the video firing into the air in kano, they reported today at the Force Headquarters Abuja for trial. The trial is ongoing. We will update the public as soon as the trial is over. Thanks.
