 You Are Heaven Bound - Franklin Graham Tells Trump in Letter Shared on Palm  Donald Trump has shared a personal letter from evangelist Franklin Graham, saying it offers reassurance about his spiritual future and his path to heaven. The former president posted the letter on Truth Social on March 29 to mark Palm Sunday, the Christian holy day observed one week before Easter.  The note, dated October 15, 2025, was sent after Trump helped broker a ceasefire agreement between Israel and Hamas and the return of hostages. In the letter, Graham, a longtime ally and son of the late preacher Billy Graham, praised Trump’s role in the breakthrough. “Congratulations! The cease-fire between Israel and Hamas and the hostages being returned home are incredible accomplishments. Your leadership is historic,” Graham wrote.  “This is an answer to much prayer. NCC denies tracking and leaking phone calls of Nigerians


The Nigerian Communications Commission, NCC, has denied any involvement in the tracking and leaking of phone conversations between individuals, groups, or organizations.


The Commission stated this in a statement issued and signed by its Director of Public Affairs, Reuben Mouka. Part of the statement reads


“The Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) has been inundated with enquiries by the media on allegations of telephone “tracking” and “leakage” made against the Commission by some individuals and groups in the social and alternative Media.


The Commission wishes to make the following clarifications, The Commission denies the allegations in their entirety. By the provisions of the Nigerian Communication Act (NCA) 2003 and other extant Laws of the Federation, the Commission does not and cannot “track” nor “leak” telephone conversations of anyone.


The Commission has reported the allegations, which we take seriously, to relevant security agencies for proper investigation and necessary action.


The Commission restates its commitment to discharge its responsibilities to the Nigerian people in accordance with the provisions of the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria; the NCA 2003; and other extant Laws of the Federation; and global best practices.”


Recall that last weekend, a purported telephone conversation between Labour Party's presidential candidate, Peter Obi, and Bishop David Oyedepo, went viral. Some Nigerians including musician Peter Okoye, questioned the safety of telephone calls in Nigeria.

 How Suspected Phone Snatchers Killed Army Lieutenant In Kaduna  An army officer identified as Lieutenant IM Abubakar has reportedly been hacked to death by a gang that specialises in phone snatching and other crimes. The deceased was killed in the Unguwan Sarki area of Kaduna metropolis during the week. A popular counter-insurgency expert and security analyst in Lake Chad, Zagazola Makama disclosed this in a Twitter post. Makama described Abubakar as a talented officer.  He said, “Lt IM Abubakar(Isa) A Young Talented Army Officer Was Killed By Phone Snatchers on His Way Home In Unguwan Sarki, Kaduna. May his soul rest in peace.”
