 YOBE STATE GOVERNMENT APPROVES ENROLLMENT OF RETIREES INTO THE STATES HEALTHCARE MANAGEMENT  Yobe state government has approved the enrollment of the state and local government retirees into the state  contributory  Healthcare Management Agency (YSCHMA) social equity programme, marking a significant milestone in the state's effort to strengthen social protection and expand access to quality healthcare . Owo Church Reopens 10 Months After Deadly Attack

St. Francis Catholic Church in Owo, Ondo State, reopened for religious activities on Sunday, ten months after it was shut down, following a deadly attack by gunmen.

On June 5, 2022, gunmen attacked the church and killed some of the worshippers while several others were severely injured.

The attack left at least 40 worshippers dead with others injured.
