 Anambra Government Reaffirms Mega City Drive, Demolishes Scores of Illegal Structures By Ruth Orji  The Anambra State Government has reaffirmed its commitment to the ongoing regeneration drive and restoration of sanity across the state through enforcement exercises and demolition of illegal structures statewide. The exercise was led by the Commissioner for Physical Planning and Urban Development, Barrister Chijioke Ojukwu, on July 8, in line with the Physical Planning Law of Anambra State. Stating that it is no longer business as usual, the commissioner urged residents to take every notice received from the ministry seriously and comply promptly with planning regulations henceforth. He, however, said several eviction notices had been served but were taken with a pinch of salt, adding that demolitions followed because structures defaced the environment or obstructed pedestrian walkways. Security evacuate man from Ibom Air flight after saying Tinubu must not be sworn-in

Some security agents, on Friday evening, removed a yet-to-be-identified passenger from an Ibom Air flight over unruly behavior before the take-off.
According to PUNCH, the man reportedly shouted on the airplane that on no account should the President-elect, Bola Tinubu be sworn in as Nigerian leader.

His strange behavior attracted the attention of other passengers and flight attendants who called in some security personnel and forcibly removed him from the plane.

As the man struggled with the security men, he kept on shouting that ‘Obidients’ were looking at him being manhandled in the plane.

However, no one could come close to him as officials of the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria and Ibom Air surrounded him.
