 Anambra Govt Warns Against Purchase of Encroached Land at Trans-Nkissi By MaryAnn Chukwuma The Anambra State Ministry of Lands has warned members of the public against purchasing plots at TransNkissi Phase 1, behind the Federal Government Girls College, Onitsha, from persons claiming ownership on behalf of the Umuosodi family of Onitsha. The warning was contained in a public notice dated Sept. 28, 2026, with Ref. No. PS/ML/2026/CR/VOL.II/028 and signed by the Permanent Secretary, Mrs Nkeiru Mokwe, for the Commissioner. According to the notice, the Ministry became aware that persons alleged to be members of the Umuosodi family had invaded and commenced clearing portions of the land with the intention of selling them to unsuspecting members of the public. It said compensatory plots had been allocated to the family and other families in Onitsha before the current administration. Unijos Confers Doctorate Degree Of Law On Emir Of Zazzau 

The Senate and Governing Council of the University of Jos has approved the award of Honourary Doctorate Degree of Laws, Honoris Causa to its Chancellor the Emir of Zazzau, Malam Ahmed Nuhu Bamalli, CFR. 

According to the Letter of Award presented by the Vice Chancellor, Professor Ishaya Tanko while leading Management team of the University to his Palace, indicates that the award will be made after the Emir's investiture as Chancellor of the University at the 33rd/34th Convocation Ceremony slated for May, 2023.

Professor Tanko also disclosed that the Senate and Governing Council of the University deem it fit to award Malam Ahmad Bamalli with the Honorary Degree after carefully studying his profile, experience, dynamism, integrity and identifying with his wide range network. 

In a Statement, Media and Publicity Officer of the Zazzau Emirate Abdullahi Aliyu Kwarbai recalls that the Emir is also the Chancellor of Capital City University, Kano and Greenfield University, Kaduna.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
