 Thugs Break Into Mortuary in Nzhelele, allegedly stole equipment An elderly security guard was brutally attacked during a break-in at Luvhani Mortuary in Nzhelele, Limpopo, on Friday. According to reports, unknown suspects assaulted the guard with a pick handle and an axe. He sustained serious injuries to his head and legs and was rushed to the nearest hospital for medical treatment. The suspects allegedly stole equipment from the mortuary before fleeing the scene. Police have opened a case and are appealing to the public for any information that could help identify and arrest the suspects.

Unijos Confers Doctorate Degree Of Law On Emir Of Zazzau 

The Senate and Governing Council of the University of Jos has approved the award of Honourary Doctorate Degree of Laws, Honoris Causa to its Chancellor the Emir of Zazzau, Malam Ahmed Nuhu Bamalli, CFR. 

According to the Letter of Award presented by the Vice Chancellor, Professor Ishaya Tanko while leading Management team of the University to his Palace, indicates that the award will be made after the Emir's investiture as Chancellor of the University at the 33rd/34th Convocation Ceremony slated for May, 2023.

Professor Tanko also disclosed that the Senate and Governing Council of the University deem it fit to award Malam Ahmad Bamalli with the Honorary Degree after carefully studying his profile, experience, dynamism, integrity and identifying with his wide range network. 

In a Statement, Media and Publicity Officer of the Zazzau Emirate Abdullahi Aliyu Kwarbai recalls that the Emir is also the Chancellor of Capital City University, Kano and Greenfield University, Kaduna.
