 There was no evidence that he slept with the girl” – Yomi Fabiyi gives update on Baba Ijesha’s case Nollywood actor Yomi Fabiyi has given an update on embattled Yoruba actor Baba Ijesha’s case. Refreshing your memory, Baba Ijesha was arrested and sentenced to 5 years imprisonment for raping a minor, who is the adopted daughter of comedian Princess. Giving an update on the case in a recent interview, he said Baba Ijesha’s appeal process is still ongoing in court. He claimed that there was no evidence that he slept with the hole; hence, the judge didn’t sentence him to life imprisonment. Yomi stated that Princess called Baba Ijesha to shoot a skit, and the girl also made a similar statement in court. Yahoo Boy Bags One Year Term for love Scam in Kaduna

The Kaduna Zonal Command has secured the conviction of one Joshua Audu before Justice A.A Bello of the Kaduna State High Court on a one count charge bordering on Love scam

Joshua, who was arrested by the Kaduna State Vigilance Service, KADVS at Brooklyn Hotel, Narayi Barnawa Kaduna on suspicion of involvement in cybercrime and handed over to the Commission for further investigation, allegedly used the social media platform, Google Chat to defraud victims whom he professed love to. He received money and gift cards as proceeds of his illicit act. 

He pleaded guilty upon arraignment, leading to his conviction and sentencing to one year imprisonment or a fine of N 150,000(One Hundred and Fifty Thousand Naira). He is also to forfeit his Redmi 7 and iPhone 11 mobile devices to the Federal Government.

 Actor Baba Ijesha appeals five-year jail sentence for sexual assault Nollywood actor Olanrewaju James, known as Baba Ijesha, has filed an appeal against his conviction for the sexual assault of a minor. He has requested the Court of Appeal, Lagos Division, to overturn the ruling of the Lagos State High Court, which sentenced him to five years in prison. The conviction was handed down by Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo (retd.) of the Ikeja Domestic Violence and Sexual Offences Court on July 14, 2022 to Baba Ijesha. Namtira Bwala has threatened to file a lawsuit against the school authorities if her abusers are not punished within 48 hours. In a letter drafted by her lawyers, Deji Adeyanju and Co, Namtira asked the school authorities to immediately investigate and pronounce the stiffest punishments in the student’s rule book on Ms.Maryam Hassan, Miss Faliya, and nine other students who bullied her.
