 KADIRS Warns Residents Against Fake Revenue Collectors, Introduces E-Demand Notice As Sole Payment Authorization The Kaduna State Internal Revenue Service (KADIRS) has cautioned taxpayers and residents of Kaduna State against making revenue payments without first obtaining an official E-Demand Notice (Pay Advice), warning that fraudsters may exploit outdated payment processes to defraud the public. In a public announcement issued on Thursday, KADIRS said the move forms part of its ongoing efforts to automate revenue collection and enhance transparency across the state.  The agency disclosed that manual demand notices previously used for Local Government revenue collection have been phased out and are no longer recognized. According to KADIRS, the E-Demand Notice (Pay Advice) has officially replaced the former Local Government Harmonized Demand Notice and is now the only valid document for on-the-spot taxpayer assessment through the state's Central Billing System. MAFINGA WOMAN KILLS HER HUSBAND FOR REFUSING TO GIVE HER K300


A 52-year-old man of Mafinga, Muchinga Province, has been hacked to death by his wife after he failed to give her a K300 she demanded for while they were drinking alcohol in the house.

Derrick Kaonga, 52, of Kaseya village, was allegedly hacked by wife Grace Musukwa, 46, on Sunday around 23:00 hours.

Kaonga sustained deep cuts on the neck, chin and right hand.

According to information gathered by the police, Mr Kaonga  last month travelled to Kachindu village, where he was hired to cut timber and paid K1300 when he returned, he gave K1000  to his wife and remained with K300. This annoyed the wife who wanted all the money. After a heated argument, she picked an axe and hit the man who died instantly. As he was dying, she searched her pocket and got the K300 she wanted.😭😭.
