According to sources, Chelle is considering terminating his contract as the team's manager. The development comes amidst Nigeria's struggles to qualify for the 2026 FIFA World Cup. With only seven points from six games, the Super Eagles are currently fourth in Group C, behind leaders South Africa, Rwanda, and Benin Republic. Pressure has been mounting on Chelle, prompting him to travel to Europe in search of reinforcements to bolster the team's defense. However, the uncertainty surrounding his future with the team has reportedly led to a change of heart, with Chelle now considering terminating his contract. 10 Yahoo Boys Jailed in Enugu for Impersonation

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, Enugu Zonal Command, today May 9, 2023 secured the conviction of 10 internet fraudsters before Justice F. Riman of the Federal High Court sitting at Awka, Anambra State. 

The fraudster: Chisom Simon Ikenyiri, Ugwuanyi Innocent,  Ifeanyichukwu Nnaji Christian, Matthew Izuchukwu Ofoha, Chimamkpa Godwill Osakwe, Uwandu Bright, Uchechukwu Franklin Nwaodu, Emmanuel Aniweke Mmesoma,  Edeh Kelechukwu bethel  and Onu Chinedu Joshua, were convicted on separate charges bordering on bordering on fraudulent impersonation

All ten defendants pleaded guilty when the charges were read to them.

Justice Riman convicted and sentenced them to a one year imprisonment each.

 Actor Baba Ijesha appeals five-year jail sentence for sexual assault Nollywood actor Olanrewaju James, known as Baba Ijesha, has filed an appeal against his conviction for the sexual assault of a minor. He has requested the Court of Appeal, Lagos Division, to overturn the ruling of the Lagos State High Court, which sentenced him to five years in prison. The conviction was handed down by Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo (retd.) of the Ikeja Domestic Violence and Sexual Offences Court on July 14, 2022 to Baba Ijesha. Baba Ijesha through his counsel Kayode Olabiran on Tuesday, told the appeal court that his client was set up and that he acted according to a script that he was invited to act on by his colleague. “The Appellant was set up.
