 PRESIDENT TINUBU CONGRATULATES MINISTER OF STATE FOR FOREIGN AFFAIRS AMBASSADOR ENIKANOLAIYE ON HIS BIRTHDAY   President Bola Tinubu has congratulated the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Sola Enikanolaiye, on his birthday.    A statement by Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to the President, Information and Strategy, indicates that the President describes Ambassador Enikanolaiye as a distinguished diplomat, accomplished administrator and dedicated public servant whose career reflects professionalism, patriotism and a deep commitment to Nigeria.   Ambassador Enikanolaiye served in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs from August 1982 to August 2017, rising through the ranks to become Permanent Secretary. Abia Assembly writes DSS, Police over suspended House Members.

The Abia State House of Assembly has resolved to write the Department of State Security Services(SSS) and the Nigerian Police Force notifying them of the suspension of some House Members that towed the path of illegality by assembling in a private residence to purportedly impeach the Speaker of the House. 

At the House plenary today Tuesday, 2nd May, 2023, presided over by the Speaker Rt Hon Chinedum Enyinnaya Orji FNSE, the House described the purported impeachment of the speaker as laughable and attempt to bring the Assembly into public ridicule.

THOSE SUSPENDED AND THEIR BENEFITS AS HOUSE MEMBERS WITHDRAWN ARE :
