 EASTER SECURITY ASSESSMENT: ANAMBRA POLICE EXPRESS CONCERN OVER MASKED SECURITY PERSONNEL PROTECTING VIPs, WARN OF SECURITY RISKS The Anambra State Police Command has expressed serious concern over the growing trend of some security operatives concealing their identities while providing protection to Very Important Personalities (VIPs) within the State. The Command notes that while security duties often require tactical discretion, the act of masking identities without proper authorization raises significant security concerns. Such practices, it observed, not only pose a potential threat to public safety but also undermine trust, accountability, and the integrity of inter-agency collaboration. Action Alliance Withdraws Petition Against Tinubu

The Action Alliance has withdrawn its petition against Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the President-Elect.

No reason for the withdrawal was revealed at the start of the Presidential Election Petition Court’s pre-hearing on Monday in Abuja.

AA’s lead council, Oba Maduabuchi requested that the party’s petition be withdrawn.

After the All-Progressives Congress (APC), the President-Elect, and the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), stated that they had no objections, Justice Haruna Tsammani dismissed the case.
