 PROTEST ERUPTS IN OTUKPO OVER INCESSANT KILLINGS,  KIDNAPPINGS  April 1, 2025 Angry residents of Otukpo, Benue State, have taken to the streets in protest against the rising cases of killings and kidnappings in the area. Reports have it that the demonstrators, chanting “We no go gree!” blocked major roads, demanding urgent action from the government and security agencies to address the growing insecurity. One of the protesters, who identified himself as Daniel Oche, lamented the frequent attacks, describing them as a “constant recurrence.” He also made a shocking revelation, alleging that electricity is always cut off in the community before each attack. “This has been happening again and again. We are not safe in our own homes. And have you noticed? NEPA (JEDC) always takes light before every operation. It’s like they don’t want us to see what’s coming,” he said. AIRING OF DOCUMENTARY ON HIGHLIGHTS OF THE BUHARI ADMINISTRATION


With the conclusion of the eight-year, two-term tenure of the administration of President Muhammadu Buhari, the Media Department of the State House has produced a 55-minute documentary titled, “Muhammadu Buhari Was Here.” 

The documentary which showcases high points of the government will air as follows:

1.     Channels Television -  Sunday, May 21 at 6.00pm ;

2.   NTA                              -  Monday, May 22 at 8.00pm; and

3.    TVC                             -  Tuesday, May 23 at 6.00pm.
