The Women Affairs Commissioner embarked on the trip to Lagos on Sunday following a viral video circulating on social media of a girl identified as Chinaza Anienene, an indigene of Anambra State, whose mistress gave an open wound with blood gushing out from the left side of her body.

The survivor stated that her aunty cut her body with a knife because she failed to wash a bag given to her by the woman.

Also according to a neighbour, he heard the teenager's cry again on Friday and decided to visit the apartment, where he found blood dripping from the girl's body and alerted other neighbors and security.

Upon the Commissioner's arrival, the Lagos State Police command had already arrested the 30-year-old pregnant woman, Mrs. Eucharia Ndigwe, for allegedly cutting her teenage maid's body with a knife at Adaloko, in Ojo area of Lagos state.
