 Russia launches massive drone and missile barrage on Ukraine, killing at least 18 civilians and striking Kyiv and multiple cities  Russia carried out a large-scale overnight assault on Ukraine, launching hundreds of drones and dozens of missiles that killed at least 18 civilians and wounded more than 100 others across multiple cities, officials said Tuesday. The strikes hit Kyiv, Dnipro and other regions, with emergency crews working through destroyed residential buildings where some victims were trapped under rubble. In Dnipro, rescuers recovered the bodies of a 3-year-old child and a mother and her 8-year-old son, while officials reported 12 deaths in the city and six in Kyiv. The bombardment stretched from night into daylight, with explosions reported across wide areas of the country. Eniola Badmus to chair Entertainment Committee of Tinubu’s inauguration


Nollywood actress Eniola Badmus has been appointed the chairman of the Entertainment Committee for President-elect Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s inauguration.

Ahead of May 29, 2023, preparations are already in top gear for the president-elect’s swearing-in.

A trending list on the internet showed that the actress would be chairing the Entertainment Committee for Tinubu’s inauguration.

Members of the group include Saheed Balogun, Toyin Abraham, Seyi Law, Lawal Olalekan, aka Konga, and singer Chuddy K, among others from the entertainment industry.

Eniola Badmus, who is a strong supporter of the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in the 2023 election, had in February begun the distribution of the Aso ebi selected for the celebration and swearing-in ceremony.
