 NLC backs new SSG Chiamaka Nnake, Seeks Workers Welfare  By Ukpa Ewa  The Organized Labour in Anambra State has pledged support to the newly appointed Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Mrs. Chiamaka Nnake, while urging her to place the interest of Anambra and workers’ welfare at the forefront of her administration. The labour delegation, led by Comrade Humphrey Emeka Nwafor of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) and Comrade Chris Ogbonna of the Trade Union Congress (TUC), paid a courtesy visit to the new SSG at the Light House in Awka. Speaking during the visit, Comrade Nwafor said the office of the SSG plays a key role in government labour relations and called on Mrs. Nnake to ensure Anambra workers are given due attention in government affairs. He also congratulated her on becoming the first female SSG in the state at a young age, describing her appointment as historic. MAKINDE DISSOLVES CABINET 


Oyo State Governor Seyi Makinde has dissolved his cabinet, in preparation for the official handover ceremony to a new administration on 29th May, 2023.

Similarly, the Governor equally terminated the appointments of political office holders, urging them to handover government properties in their custody.

This was announced in a letter dated 23rd of May, 2023 and signed by the Chief of Staff to the Governor and Chairman, Transition & Inauguration Committee, Otunba Segun Ogunwuyi.

The letter stated that the termination of appointment of all political officeholders takes effect from (Today), Tuesday, May 23, 2023.

He thanked them for their contributions to the development of Oyo State and wishes them success in their future endeavours.

It however added that “please note that political officeholders in statutory commissions are excluded from this directive".

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
