 LAWMA SEALS PREMISES ON AGO PALACE WAY, ARRESTS 11 DUMPERS ON LAGOS ISLAND … Intensifies Enforcement Against Illegal Waste Disposal In renewed enforcement efforts, the Lagos Waste Management Authority (LAWMA) has sealed premises identified for persistent illegal waste dumping along Ago Palace Way and arrested 11 persons for illegal waste disposal in various parts of Lagos Island. The Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of LAWMA, Dr. Muyiwa Gbadegesin, said that the enforcement operations underscored the Authority’s resolve to enforce existing waste management regulations and ensure compliance with approved waste disposal practices across Lagos. He explained that the Ago Palace Way operation covered plazas, hotels, lounges and warehouses along the corridor, as part of efforts to tackle activities contributing to waste build-up and environmental nuisance on road setbacks, medians and other unauthorised public spaces. GOVERNOR SOLUDO WAS OFFICIALLY INVITED TO THE  PRESIDENTIAL INAUGURATION CEREMONY, AND CANNOT BE BOUNCED BY ANYONE 


A very mischievous and misleading video is currently been circulated online by some mischief makers who derive pleasure in mis-informing the general public


The video shows Governor Chukwuma Charles Soludo, CFR, arriving the Eagle Square for the Presidential swearing-in ceremony in Abuja and was subsequently being re-directed courteously  by protocol officials to the rightful position reserved for him at the other side of the VVIPs sitting positions 


Redirecting invited guests to their rightful sitting position is neither an issue nor a condescending act 


For the records, Governor Soludo remains one of the few Governors that was respectfully honoured and invited officially to attend the presidential swearing-in ceremony 


Consequently, we call on the general public to disregard the trending video. It is pure mischief and deliberate act to mis-inform the public
