 HERDSMEN KILL DRIVER ON HUMANITARIAN MISSION IN TARABA STATE  10th January, 2026      A commercial driver, Mr. Amishe Omeny, has been killed by suspected Fulani herdsmen while on a humanitarian visit to a displaced community in Takum Local Government Area of Taraba State. The deceased, from Tse Amise after Tseem, was reportedly attacked on Friday within Chanchanji Ward as he travelled to Adokia, a displaced settlement located after Tseem Sabe. He was said to have gone to the area to assist villagers with the transportation of foodstuffs. Sources in the community told Benue Info-pedia, that Omeny volunteered his services as a driver to support residents affected by ongoing insecurity, when he was ambushed and killed by the assailants. The killing has sparked grief and outrage among residents, who described the incident as tragic and senseless. I WILL DO EVERYTHING WITHIN MY POWER TO IMPLEMENT THE CHARTER OF EQUITY - GOV. UZODIMMA 


The Imo State Governor, His Excellency, Distinguished Senator Hope Uzodimma has reassured Ndi Imo of his commitment to implement the Imo State Charter of Equity for the sustainability of peace in the State's Political zones. 

Governor Uzodimma in his address during the Sunday Service held at the Government House Chapel, Owerri, commended the Imo Council of Elders for introducing a Charter of Equity which will help the State's Political class to be more focused and their political hunt will be streamlined. 

The Governor appreciated the fervent prayers of the Church which has helped to give a tremendous boost to the Shared Prosperity administration, resulting in federal government approvals, commissionings of people-oriented projects like healthcare insurance schemes and marine transportation services in the State, and many others. 

While inviting all well-meaning citizens across party borders to join the train of development, he maintains that his Government has always been an all-inclusive Government that bears no grudges and only focused on the State today and the future. 

Speaking on the revival of pilgrimage in the State, the Governor reiterated that the pilgrimage is apolitical hence the forms were distributed through Churches with special preference to indigent citizens who could not afford it.

Speaking earlier, the Commissioner for religious affairs, Hon Tony Okonkwo commended the Governor for his generosity to Ndi Imo and to the body of Christ especially the full sponsorship of 1000 Imo Pilgrims to the Holyland. 

The commissioner led the first batch of the 1000 Pilgrims returnees to offer gifts to the Governor in appreciation for supporting their spiritual Prosperity and growth.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.  Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”. He said: “Our orders for four attack helicopters from the United States of America will take some time to arrive.
