Refreshing your memory, Baba Ijesha was arrested and sentenced to 5 years imprisonment for raping a minor, who is the adopted daughter of comedian Princess. Giving an update on the case in a recent interview, he said Baba Ijesha’s appeal process is still ongoing in court. He claimed that there was no evidence that he slept with the hole; hence, the judge didn’t sentence him to life imprisonment. Yomi stated that Princess called Baba Ijesha to shoot a skit, and the girl also made a similar statement in court. Kenneth Okonkwo, Others Represent Peter Obi At Presidential Election Tribunal

Veteran Nigerian actor and spokesperson for the Labour Party Presidential Campaign Council, Kenneth Okonkwo, has revealed the lawyers representing the party’s presidential candidate, Peter Obi, in the court of appeal.

He made this known in a post on his Twitter page on Monday.

Okonkwo said, “We have a formidable team of legal luminaries representing #PeterObi. From left is the head of the team, Livy Uzoukwu SAN, Awa Kalu SAN, Benbella Anachebe SAN, Kenneth Okonkwo Esq and a host of other experienced lawyers. May God grant us the wisdom to recover the people's mandate.”

The Presidential Election Petitions Tribunal began pre-hearing the petitions challenging the outcome of the February 25 presidential election on Monday.

He has requested the Court of Appeal, Lagos Division, to overturn the ruling of the Lagos State High Court, which sentenced him to five years in prison. Namtira Bwala has threatened to file a lawsuit against the school authorities if her abusers are not punished within 48 hours.
