 World’s Youngest Reigning Monarch , King Oyo, Dies at 34 King Oyo Nyimba Kabamba Iguru Rukidi IV, the traditional ruler of Uganda’s Tooro Kingdom who became the world’s youngest reigning monarch after ascending the throne at three, has died at the age of 34. The monarch reportedly died on Thursday, with the Prime Minister of the Tooro Kingdom, Calvin Armstrong Rwomiire Akiiki, announcing his death on Friday. The cause of death was not immediately disclosed. However, Ugandan media reports quoted a government minister as saying that King Oyo had been critically ill and was receiving medical treatment in the United States. Reacting to the development, Akiiki described the monarch’s death as a major loss to the royal family and the people of Tooro. He urged members of the kingdom to remain united and calm while mourning the traditional ruler. Kwankwaso, Peter Obi helped Tinubu become president – Deji Adeyanju



Ahead of the May 29 inauguration of a new administration, the presidential candidates of the New Nigeria Peoples Party, NNPP, Rabiu Kwankwaso, and the Labour Party, LP, Peter Obi, have been accused of making Bola Tinubu the President-elect.


Deji Adeyanju, a socio-political activist, said Kwankwaso and Obi made Tinubu president-elect by reducing Atiku’s votes.


Tweeting, Adeyanju said Obi went further by using religious bigotry to help Tinubu.


According to Adeyanju: “Tinubu will be president in 8 days. Kwankwaso and Obi made it possible by reducing their oga, Atiku’s votes.


“Obi took his own to the extreme by even using religious bigotry to do so.”


Tinubu defeated Atiku, Obi and Kwankwaso during the last presidential election.
