 COURT RESTRAINS RESIDENT DOCTORS FROM EMBARKING ON STRIKE  The national industrial court Abuja division has restrained all members and agents of the national association of resident doctors from calling, directing, organizing, participating in, and embarking upon any form of industrial action.  Justice Emmanuel Danjuma Subilim gave the order in an interim injunction filed by the federal government through the office of the attorney general of the federation and minister of justice.  The court temporally barred members of the association from embarking on any form of strike, work stoppages, go-slows, picketing, or any other form of industrial protest or disruption. The association is equally restrained from taking steps preparatory to any form of industrial action from the 12th day of january, 2026. Man confesses to killing 20 persons in Osun

Saheed Wasiu, also known as K-Federal, has been arrested by the Osun State Police Command.

According to a statement issued by the Command’s spokeswoman, Yemisi Opalola, Wasiu was previously wanted by the police for murder and cult-related crimes.

The suspect was detained by investigators from the Special Anti-Cultism section in the Alusekere region of Ede and is a member of the Rasheed Hammed, also known as Oko-Ilu-led Eiye Confraternity.

She said, “On 07/05/2023 at about 1400hrs, upon tip-off received that, one Saheed Wasiu ‘m’ popularly known as K-Federal, one of the deadly and notorious members of Rasheed Oko-Ilu led gangster was around Alusekere area, Ede, Osun State, Police detective from Special Anti-cultism unit swung into action and arrested the suspect.

“During the interrogation, he confessed to be a member of Eiye confraternity led by one Rasheed Hammed, a.k.a Oko-Ilu who has been arrested and remanded at correctional custody some time ago.”

Opalola revealed that the suspect admitted to actively participating in the killing of 20 people in Ede town.

She added,“

Osun River, Sagba area, Ede. Among the victims they have killed are: late Wale, Jamiu, Ganiyu, Azeez and Eyimba and others.”

She said that after the investigation is over, the suspect will be charged in court.
