 HERDSMEN KILL DRIVER ON HUMANITARIAN MISSION IN TARABA STATE  10th January, 2026      A commercial driver, Mr. Amishe Omeny, has been killed by suspected Fulani herdsmen while on a humanitarian visit to a displaced community in Takum Local Government Area of Taraba State. The deceased, from Tse Amise after Tseem, was reportedly attacked on Friday within Chanchanji Ward as he travelled to Adokia, a displaced settlement located after Tseem Sabe. He was said to have gone to the area to assist villagers with the transportation of foodstuffs. Sources in the community told Benue Info-pedia, that Omeny volunteered his services as a driver to support residents affected by ongoing insecurity, when he was ambushed and killed by the assailants. The killing has sparked grief and outrage among residents, who described the incident as tragic and senseless. Mancity Demolish Real Madrid To Reach Champions League Final

The myth of Real Madrid invisibility in the UEFA champions league has been brought to an end by England Champion, Manchester City. The Manchester side put four pass the Spanish side in the 4-goal thriller.

Bernardo Silva scored twice in a hugely impressive win over Real Madrid at Etihad Stadium, which sees that the blue side of Manchester booking a place in the final of the Europe most treasured tournament.

Both of Silva’s goals came in a stunning first-half display by the hosts before Eder Militao’s own goal and a strike by substitute Julian Alvarez late on wrapped a dominant 4-0 win on the night and a 5-1 victory on aggregate.

City, who are on the verge of winning the Premier League and are in the FA Cup final, will play Inter Milan in the final in Istanbul on 10 June as they look to win the Champions League for the first time.

Pep Guardiola’s side outclassed the 14-times winners from the outset and only two stunning Thibaut Courtois saves stopped Erling Haaland from giving the hosts an early lead.

But City could not be kept out for long and Silva got his first of the night with a whipped near-post finish that gave Courtois no chance.

The Portugal midfielder added a second just before the break, looping a header over David Alaba and into the back of the net.

That goal came after Toni Kroos hit the bar with a shot from distance, but in truth Real rarely threatened as City produced one of their best displays in Europe in the first 45 minutes.

Courtois denied Haaland again in the closing stages when he pushed the striker’s shot onto the bar but City added a third when Manuel Akanji’s flicked header from Kevin de Bruyne’s free-kick was diverted into his own net by Militao, before Alvarez completed the rout with a neat finish.

 Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”.
