 “We Don’t Want Violent Politics In Kaduna,” Group Tells Political Parties, Urges Them to Call Supporters To Order The Kaduna Peace Ambassadors Forum has called on political parties in Kaduna State to caution their supporters and prevent further violence following recent clashes involving members of major political parties in the state. The group said Kaduna had enjoyed relative peace for a long period and should not return to an era of violent politics. In a statement, the forum expressed concern that political disagreements and clashes in the past had sometimes escalated into religious conflicts, with consequences for communities across the state. It therefore called on security agencies to take appropriate measures to identify and hold accountable those responsible for the recent clashes, while strengthening preventive measures to avoid a recurrence. President-elect, Bola Asiwaju Tinubu’s wife, Oluremi Tinubu, has acknowledged she would be one of the oldest first ladies the country had ever produced.

She stated this on Sunday during the presidential inauguration interdenominational church service held at the National Christian Centre, Abuja.

Oluremi, senator representing the Lagos Central Senatorial District at the National Assembly, also insisted that her husband is 71 years old.

She extended her gratitude to God over her husband’s victory during the February 25 presidential poll.

“I can tell you that we never believed that this could happen but we thank God for giving us hope.

“Asiwaju is 71, I will be 63. I bet I will be one of the oldest first ladies Nigeria has had. We need the grace of God and everyone to do what they are expected to do.

“Today, God has really proved himself as he did on the night of the primaries and put his seal on it. It is a time for perfection in Nigeria,” she said
