 Viral video of a McDonald's employee putting fries in her mouth and then placing them into a container she had spit in, has led to charges being rightfully filed. The infamous incident that has since gone viral started as a Snapchat video taken inside of a Southbridge, Massachusetts, McDonald's on April 9th. The video's creator, 22-year-old, Kaylie Santos has now been charged after police launched an investigation. The video shows Kaylie placing french fries in her mouth before placing them in a fry carton that she had spit in.  During the course of the investigation, authorities were able to confirm that Kaylie had, in fact, served the fries after recording her disgusting contamination of the food. Police also were able to determine the victim was an ex of Kaylie's who actually ate the contaminated fries. Police have now charged Kaylie with distributing food with a harmful substance.  The charge could carry a penalty of up to 5 years in prison. Kaylie is scheduled to ...

PDP, Atiku open case at Presidential Election Petition Court, tender BVAS printouts, election results, others

The presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, (PDP), Mr Abubakar Atiku along with the party on Tuesday in Abuja, opened their case at the Presidential Election Petition Court, (PEPC) by tendering documents to support their petition.

The News Agency of Nigeria, (NAN) reports that one of the documents tendered by counsel to the petitioners, Mr Eyitayo Jegede, SAN was the Form EC 8E which is the final declaration of winners result.

Jegede also tendered the Bimodal Voters Accreditation Systems Machines, (BVAS) report from all the 36 states including  the Federal Capital Territory, FCT.

He also tendered Independent National Electoral Commission, (INEC) certified documents in respect of number of registered voters as well as number of Permanent Voter Cards, (PVC)s collected in all the 36 states including the FCT.

Having tendered the documents, the Chairman of the Court, Justice Haruna Tsammani admitted them in evidence.

Justice Tsammani subsequently adjourned the case until Wednesday for continuation of proceedings.

NAN reports that Atiku and the PDP approached the PEPC challenging the declaration of President Bola Tinubu as winner of the Feb. 25 Presidential Election.

Atiku urged the court to declare him winner of the election or in the alternative to cancel the election and order a fresh election due to alleged irregularities that marred the poll in thousands of polling units.
