 Dolly Parton returns to public eye to celebrate opening day at Dollywood     Dolly Parton made her first public appearance in months to celebrate the opening day of Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, on Friday. The country music icon reflected on the past year, a year after the death of her husband of nearly 60 years, Carl Dean, saying she is “doing good” and has been working to rebuild herself spiritually, emotionally, and physically after grieving and dealing with health issues that kept her from touring. Joined on stage by Dollywood president Eugene Naughton, Parton brought her trademark humor to the crowd, joking about rumors of a new husband while reaffirming her devotion to Dean. She also shared updates on her ongoing projects, including a new Broadway musical and her Dolly’s Life of Many Colors Museum in Nashville. PRESIDENT BUHARI MOURNS FIRST AFRICAN PRESIDENT OF ROTARY INTERNATIONAL, JONATHAN BABATUDE MAJIYAGBE, SAN 

 
President Muhammadu Buhari condoles with Rotary International over the passing of the first and only African President, Jonathan Babatunde Majiyagbe SAN, OFR, at the age of 88. 

President Buhari joins family members, friends and associates of the renowned lawyer in grief, urging an approximation of his lofty achievements on earth, which includes scoring many historic firsts, like being the first practicing lawyer in the North to become a Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN), 1980. 
 
As the first and only African to have led the over 118 years Rotary International as its President in the year 2003-2004 Rotary year, the President believes Majiyagbe lived for the good of the country and humanity, with his humility, kindness, and integrity. 

President Buhari prays that the Almighty God will grant the departed eternal rest, and comfort his family.
