 NEMA COORDINATES SAR OPS AT THE SCENE OF BUILDING COLLAPSE INVOLVING A THREE STOREY BUILDING UNDER CONSTRUCTION AT GUDU AREA OF FCT At about 0945hrs on Saturday 16th May, 2026, the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) was alerted of a building collapse at Gudu District of FCT.  Critical stakeholders including Federal Fire, FCT Fire, NSCDC, NPF, FRSC and Federal Capital Territory Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) were activated while a response team of NEMA from the Abuja Operations Office led by the Head of Operations Mr Zakari Abubakar  and operatives from AYA Emergency Response Bay (ERAB) were deployed to the scene for quick response and coordination.  A reinforcement team  from NEMA Headquarters led by the Director Search and Response (DSAR) Air Cdre Bature Usman was also on ground to provide necessary backup and supervision. PRESIDENT BUHARI MOURNS FIRST AFRICAN PRESIDENT OF ROTARY INTERNATIONAL, JONATHAN BABATUDE MAJIYAGBE, SAN 

 
President Muhammadu Buhari condoles with Rotary International over the passing of the first and only African President, Jonathan Babatunde Majiyagbe SAN, OFR, at the age of 88. 

President Buhari joins family members, friends and associates of the renowned lawyer in grief, urging an approximation of his lofty achievements on earth, which includes scoring many historic firsts, like being the first practicing lawyer in the North to become a Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN), 1980. 
 
As the first and only African to have led the over 118 years Rotary International as its President in the year 2003-2004 Rotary year, the President believes Majiyagbe lived for the good of the country and humanity, with his humility, kindness, and integrity. 

President Buhari prays that the Almighty God will grant the departed eternal rest, and comfort his family.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
