 I Don’t Wish It On You – Genevieve Nnaji Knocks Trolls Age-shaming Her Veteran Nollywood actress Genevieve Nnaji has responded to social media trolls who made age-shaming comments about her. According to Naija News, a user on X reacted to Genevieve's post on April 3, 2025, stating that she couldn't escape aging and was getting older. The comment read, “You really cannot cheat nature. My fine wine is finally growing old.” In her reply, Genevieve pointed out that things could be worse; she could age significantly and eventually die if she were fortunate. She wrote, “It gets worse, bro. I’ll get so old I’ll die. If I’m lucky.” Another troll referred to her as “mummy,” suggesting she was old, but Genevieve quickly dismissed the comment, saying she wouldn’t wish old age on him. Tinubu To Unveil Ministers, Others Within 60 Days – Faleke

A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), James Faleke, says Bola Tinubu will unveil members of his cabinet within 60 days after his inauguration as Nigeria’s President on Monday.

The righthand man of the former Lagos State governor stated this on Monday morning in an exclusive interview with newsmen.

Asked whether Nigerians should expect Tinubu to unveil his cabinet as soon as possible, Faleke said, “Of course, within 60 days, that’s what the law says. He can announce anytime but I just know he must do it within 60 days.”

Many analysts had attributed the slow take-off of the Muhammadu Buhari administration to his late announcement of ministers. Buhari, who hands over to Tinubu after eight years, unveiled his cabinet six months after his inauguration in 2015. But Tinubu is expected to do things differently.

Asked whether he would like to serve in Tinubu’s cabinet, Faleke said it is the prerogative of the APC powerbroker to choose members of his cabinet.

Faleke, who was the All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential Campaign Council Secretary and lawmaker representing Ikeja Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, said some members of opposition parties are at the Eagle Square for Tinubu’s inauguration.

 Actor Baba Ijesha appeals five-year jail sentence for sexual assault Nollywood actor Olanrewaju James, known as Baba Ijesha, has filed an appeal against his conviction for the sexual assault of a minor. He has requested the Court of Appeal, Lagos Division, to overturn the ruling of the Lagos State High Court, which sentenced him to five years in prison. The conviction was handed down by Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo (retd.) of the Ikeja Domestic Violence and Sexual Offences Court on July 14, 2022 to Baba Ijesha. Baba Ijesha through his counsel Kayode Olabiran on Tuesday, told the appeal court that his client was set up and that he acted according to a script that he was invited to act on by his colleague. “The Appellant was set up.
