 Legendary actor Manoj Kumar dies at 87: ‘Roti Kapada Aur Makaan’ director breathes his last in Mumbai Manoj Kumar, the Bollywood actor and filmmaker, renowned for his patriotic films, passed away at the age of 87 at Mumbai's Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital. The cause of his death was identified as cardiogenic shock due to acute myocardial infarction, according to medical reports. The medical reports confirmed that apart from a severe heart attack that took away his life, Manoj had been battling decompensated liver cirrhosis for the past few months, ANI reported. Following deteriorating health condition, he was admitted to the hospital on February 21, 2025. Popularly known as ‘Bharat Kumar,’ Manoj Kumar was an exceptional director and actor who was honoured with National Film Award. CAR CRASHES INTO TRUCK IN MONZE LEAVING PASSENGERS WITH INJURIES 



MONZE Police on Sunday recorded a Serious Injury Road Traffic Accident involving a Mercedes Benz truck and a Honda Fit, near Monze Town Council Truck Park Yard.

Police Spokesperson Rae Hamoonga tells Byta FM Zambia that the accident happened when the driver of the Benz Truck turned right without due care, and in the process, the Honda Fit crashed into his truck.

Hamoonga says the driver of the Honda Fit, identified as James Mwamba, 35, of Chilenje Lusaka sustained a fractured right leg, bruises on the right side of the face and general body pains.

He says Mwamba’s passenger, identified as Florence Mulyata, 25, of Cold storage area Livingstone sustained general body pains.

The Police Spokesperson says that the accident happened around 05:00 hours, adding that the driver if the Honda Fit and the passenger are admitted to Monze Mission Hospital.

 Actor Baba Ijesha appeals five-year jail sentence for sexual assault Nollywood actor Olanrewaju James, known as Baba Ijesha, has filed an appeal against his conviction for the sexual assault of a minor. He has requested the Court of Appeal, Lagos Division, to overturn the ruling of the Lagos State High Court, which sentenced him to five years in prison. The conviction was handed down by Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo (retd.) of the Ikeja Domestic Violence and Sexual Offences Court on July 14, 2022 to Baba Ijesha. Baba Ijesha through his counsel Kayode Olabiran on Tuesday, told the appeal court that his client was set up and that he acted according to a script that he was invited to act on by his colleague. “The Appellant was set up.
