 43 children among 79 civilians killed in paramilitary RSF drone attack in Sudan's South Kordofan At least 79 civilians, including 43 children, were killed and 38 others injured in a drone strike carried out by the paramilitary Rapid Support Forces (RSF) in South Kordofan, Sudanese authorities said, TRT Afrika reported. In a statement, the South Kordofan state government said four women were among the victims in Thursday’s attack on the city of Kalogi in western Sudan. It said the drone fired four missiles into a kindergarten, a hospital and densely populated residential areas, describing the incident as a "heinous crime" committed by the RSF-allied Sudan People’s Liberation Movement-North (SPLM-N). Authorities had initially reported eight fatalities, including six children and a teacher, before the death toll climbed to 79.  SECURITY ARRANGEMENT FOR EID EL KABIR 


In preparation for hitch free Eid-El Kabir celebration, the Bauchi State Police Command has re-strategized the security disposition and deployed adequate human and material resources with a view to fortifying security across the state before, during and after the festivity. 
The command has taken into consideration the possibility of miscreants and disgruntled element of all descriptions might want to leverage on the occasion and perpetrate their nefarious activities. 
In view of this, the command has hereby ordered massive deployment of conventional police personnel as well as the tactical teams attached to the Command: Rapid Response Team (RRS), Anti-kidnapping Unit (AKU), Operation Restore Peace (ORS), Police Mobile Force (PMF) and Explosives Ordinance Disposal and Chemical Biological radioactive Nuclear (EOD&CBRN) operatives to various strategic places, especially areas that are susceptible to attack.
Consequently, Operation Order has been issued, while Area Commanders, Tactical Commanders and DPOs have been directed to ensure apparent visibility policing during the festive period through constant supervision of officers and men deployed for the season with regards to standard operating procedures.
in the same vein, the Command wishes to reiterate its aggressive stance to decisively descent on anyone found breaching public peace, law and order, before, during and after the festive period. 
The command once again felicitates with Muslim faithfuls in the State on the Eid-el-Kabir celebration, and equally appreciates the good people of Bauchi state for their support and cooperation with the Police in the state.
