 Press Release: Every Hisbah Officer Is a Peace and Security Ambassador in His Community. Kano State Governor Alh.Abba Kabir Yusuf has reaffirmed the determination of his administration to ensure security and peace  for the protection of lives and property across the state. The Governor, represented by the Commissioner for Religious Affairs, Sheikh Ahmad Tijjani Sani Auwal, made the commitment during a stakeholders meeting on the contribution of shari'a sector institutions toward promoting peace and security in Kano State. The meeting was organized by the Kano State Hisbah Board and held at the Coronation hall Government House, Kano. He emphasized that security is a collective responsibility and urged the Hisbah Board to focus more on providing intelligence reports to conventional security agencies, rather than limiting efforts to moral enforcement alone. Buhari Submits Assets Declaration Form To CCB, Records Zero Debt

The former President, Muhammadu Buhari, has submitted his assets declaration forms to the Code of Conduct Bureau. Buhari recorded in the form that he has zero debts.

In line with chapter six of the constitution, the CCB issued an acknowledgement receipt to the president.

The Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity to Buhari, Garba Shehu, revealed by sharing the receipt on his Twitter page on Sunday.

He said, "The completed declaration shows that his movable assets did not increase, at home in Nigeria or outside the country and did not add new bank accounts outside the only one he had in Union Bank, Kaduna. 

"He has taken no loans and has no liability and the number of animals on his farm recorded a little decrease due to the number he gave out as gifts in the last four years."
