 TROOPS STALL TERRORISTS'  MISSION TO ATTACK COMMUNITY, NAB SUSPECTED GUN RUNNERS IN ADAMAWA, SEIZE ARMS Troops of the Nigerian Army deployed for Counter terrorism operations in North East Nigeria, in conjunction with Civilian Joint Task Force, have successfully intercepted a group of terrorists on transit to unleash attack in Yola South Local Government Area of Adamawa State.  The troops on fighting patrol near Wuro Jabbe encountered the terrorists who were on a mission to attack the community. Troops engaged the terrorists in a fierce fire-fight that compelled them to succumb and abandon their firearms. The troops captured one  PKM Machine Gun, 402 rounds of 7.62 mm x 54 NATO ammunition and 110 rounds of 7.62 mm NATO. In a separate but related operation, troops responding to actionable intelligence intercepted 3 persons suspected of gun running in the Sukuk Community, located in the Madagali Local Government Area of the state. Buhari Submits Assets Declaration Form To CCB, Records Zero Debt

The former President, Muhammadu Buhari, has submitted his assets declaration forms to the Code of Conduct Bureau. Buhari recorded in the form that he has zero debts.

In line with chapter six of the constitution, the CCB issued an acknowledgement receipt to the president.

The Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity to Buhari, Garba Shehu, revealed by sharing the receipt on his Twitter page on Sunday.

He said, "The completed declaration shows that his movable assets did not increase, at home in Nigeria or outside the country and did not add new bank accounts outside the only one he had in Union Bank, Kaduna. 

"He has taken no loans and has no liability and the number of animals on his farm recorded a little decrease due to the number he gave out as gifts in the last four years."

Namtira Bwala has threatened to file a lawsuit against the school authorities if her abusers are not punished within 48 hours. In a letter drafted by her lawyers, Deji Adeyanju and Co, Namtira asked the school authorities to immediately investigate and pronounce the stiffest punishments in the student’s rule book on Ms.Maryam Hassan, Miss Faliya, and nine other students who bullied her.
