McDonald’s launches World Cup meal and collectible cups ahead of 2026 FIFA tournament kickoff McDonald’s is launching limited-time World Cup meals and collectibles ahead of the FIFA tournament kickoff on June 11, as excitement builds for the expanded 48-team competition co-hosted by the United States, Mexico and Canada. The fast-food chain, returning as an official tournament sponsor, will roll out its World Cup-themed menu nationwide starting June 4. Customers can choose between a Big Mac or a 10-piece Chicken McNuggets meal, both served with a special gold-packaged Big Mac Sauce. As part of the promotion, McDonald’s is also releasing collectible cups featuring nine global soccer stars and cultural icons. The lineup includes Christian Pulisic, David Beckham, Ronaldinho, Thierry Henry, Son Heung-Min, Lamine Yamal, Alphonso Davies, Santiago Gimenez, and the brand’s mascot Grimace. Court Remands Alleged Ritualist Father To Prison Custody In Awka.

The Chief Magistrate of the Children, Sexual and Gender Based Violence Magistrate court in Awka, Genevieve Osakwe has remanded one Mr. Sunday Ezeh for attempted murder and inflicting injuries on his 17 year old daughter.

Mr. Ezeh a native of Ara village Nise in Awka South local government area of the state was arraigned before the Magistrate court on Wednesday, 21st June, 2023.

The Chief Magistrate Osakwe mandated that the case be transmitted to the Children, Sexual and Gender Based Violence High court in Awka for hearing.

Recall that Mr. Ezeh is the father of the rescued 17 year old who is currently recuperating after an emergency head surgery at Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu Teaching Hospital Awka.

The 17 year old who was rescued by the Women and Social Welfare Commissioner, Hon Ify Obinabo though still at the state teaching hospital,is responding to treatments
